I am a Wealth Advisor at Azzendo Wealth Advisors, where my primary responsibilities include providing the support clients need when making financial decisions, whether they are small decisions or decisions that can have a long-lasting impact on one's financial plan. I guide clients throughout the years to remain on track with their plans or evaluate necessary pivots as life unfolds, while managing their investable portfolios to capture growth and/or income in a risk and cost-conscious way. I also navigate through market downturns to take advantage of opportunities and mitigate losses, with particular experience in insurance planning and educational planning.
I have worked in the financial services industry for over 14 years, previously with LINQ Financial Group before joining Azzendo Wealth Advisors. Over the course of my career, I have obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation, building upon the foundation I established with my Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Smeal College of Business at Penn State University. This combination of education and extensive experience allows me to provide comprehensive financial guidance across all aspects of wealth management.
I am motivated by the relationships I've built over the years – being able to guide individuals and families through easy and difficult financial times and then seeing how their lives unfold is the most rewarding part of the work I do. At the start of my career, I didn't understand why an advisor would be invited to important life events such as birthdays, weddings, and celebrations of life. Having built deep relationships with my clients and guided them through joyous but also challenging times, we've become extended family, so I now understand wanting to share in those celebratory moments. I believe that the greatest value I can provide for my clients is listening – my responsibility isn't to tell them what to do and what not to do, but to understand what they want to do and help them figure out how they can do it.
A native of Venezuela, I recently moved to Cape Coral on the west coast of Florida, where I live happily with my husband. Outside of the office, I am part of the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce and volunteer with the Kiwanis of Cape Coral. In my free time, I love yoga and attend a studio nearby where I live, currently focusing on learning more balance and inversion poses. I also love the outdoors – my husband and I go camping each winter, and during the summer we explore the beaches throughout the west coast of Florida. We recently picked up windsurfing so that we can paddle when the wind is calm and windsurf when the wind is active, making all our beach days fun-filled.
